Provisional Booking

Provisional bookings are honoured for a seven day period, after which the date is released for resale unless confirmation is received.

Within seven days of making a verbal confirmation, we will require written confirmation and a non-refundable deposit of £500.00 to secure the venue.

All Saturday weddings during July and August require a minimum group of 70 for the reception and 100 in the evening or will be charged accordingly if less.

The choice of menu and estimated numbers must be advised at least four weeks prior to the wedding. Special rates can be negotiated on weddings that take place on Mondays through to Thursdays.

When estimated numbers have been advised a deposit of 50% of the final invoice is required.

The final numbers must be received and the remaining balance of 50% (less the deposits) paid seven days prior to the wedding. This will be the number used to calculate the end bill.

The final invoice will show the total cost of the function less the amounts previously paid by way of deposits. Any extra expenses incurred on the day must be settled before departure of the day of the reception.

All prices are inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 17.5%, and may vary in response to VAT changes.

In the event of cancellation your deposit is non-refundable and the following charges are made:

• 5 months notice – 20% of confirmed wedding package
• 4 months notice – 25% of confirmed wedding package
• 3 months notice – 30% of confirmed wedding package
• 2 months notice – 50% of confirmed wedding package
• 1 months notice – 75% of confirmed wedding package

We strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover this eventuality.

Beverages
No beverages of any kind are permitted onto the premises by function guests or clients unless otherwise agreed by the management.

Damage to Premises
You will be liable for the cost of repairs carried out as a result of damage caused to any part of the premises or equipment therein by the negligence, willful act or the default of any person invited on your behalf.

Fireworks/Explosive Material
The use of rockets, fireworks or any loud explosive materials is strictly prohibited. The persons found in possession of such items will be asked to hand it in at the reception; should this rule be infringed the said person will be escorted off the premises.

Customer’s Property
The management cannot accept liability for loss or damage to customer’s property unless the loss or damage can be proved to be caused by negligence, willful act or default of the management or its employees.

Wedding Insurance
We recommend wedding insurance of which we are happy to advise of companies who provide such insurance.

VAT
All prices are inclusive of VAT at the rate prevailing at the time of invoice. Licensing and entertainment laws are to be observed.
